There is an old saying: when you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
That comes up a lot with websites. If the person giving advice is a WordPress developer, the answer may be WordPress. If they build in another platform, that platform may start to look like the obvious fix. That does not mean the advice is bad, but it may be shaped by the tools they know best.
Before rebuilding or changing platforms, it helps to get a more objective look at what is actually wrong. Sometimes the issue is the platform. Sometimes it is the strategy, structure, content, images, SEO, or maintenance. ●
